Interfaith Domestic Violence Network

Interfaith Domestic Violence Network
Now, domestic violence support and training is available to the interfaith community through a partnership with the Alameda County Family Justice Center and Triumph Ministries.
Alameda County Family Justice Center (ACFJC), is a one-stop center, with 30 onsite and over 100 offsite agencies and programs, for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault and exploitation, child abuse, child abduction, elder and dependent adult abuse, and human trafficking.
The mission of the Interfaith Domestic Violence Network (IDVN) is to inform, equip, empower and support the faith community in Alameda County for the prevention and intervention of domestic violence.
Through the IDVN we provide therapeutic counseling and spiritual support to victims of Domestic Violence (DV) and refer them to our network of churches and other spiritual meeting places, to ensure continued spiritual support.
We provide DV awareness workshops for the Interfaith Community, empowering faith leaders to support victims of DV, hold abusers accountable, and to develop a DV prevention strategy for their community.
If you need support or want your faith community to become part of our interfaith network, call 510-267-8802 or 510-636-4111.
